Romance Writing 101
Saturday, November 3, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m,
Toronto Public Library, Pape/Danforth branch, 701 Pape Ave.
Ever think it'd be fun to write a romance? It is! But it's hard work, too. In this 2-hour workshop, romance author Vicki Essex, who also writes the young adult fantasy Western series The Devil's Revolver under the pen name V.S. McGrath, will teach you how to break into the romance publishing industry, craft a story that sells, and inspire you to start and finish writing your romance novel.
This program is for aspiring novelists who have an idea but don't know where to begin; people with some pages written but are stuck in their writing; people who have most of a book written but don?t know what to do with it, and people who are just curious to learn more about romance, the most popular genre of books by women, for women.
